Legendairy Milkshake Bar

Nashville is good at a lot of things- but especially yummy desserts. Legendairy Milkshake Bar was no exception to that rule.

Legendairy Milkshake Bar is located at 171 3rd Avenue North, so it is right in the heart of downtown Nashville. This can make it a bit tricky to get to on a weekend evening because of parking, so plan to pay for parking or walk from a couple blocks away. We paid $15 for a space in a parking garage across the street. Carpool with a few friends to save some money for the delicious treats waiting inside.

My only complaint with our experience was the ordering process. When you walk back to the counter there is a large menu on the wall, but there is also a counter area with paper menus and pens. There are directions posted to fill out an order form for each treat, but I saw people in line without the paper orders. The order forms were also a bit disorganized, and there were different menus for milkshakes, hot chocolates, and other scooped treats. We were a bit confused but decided to just get in line because we had decided on one of the signature shakes posted on the wall, so we didn't think we needed to fill out the menu form.

My husband and I ordered the Sweet & Salty Cheesecake signature milkshake to share. We were a bit shocked at the $13.99 price for our order, so we decided to split one. Good thing we both have the same tastes- we are suckers for anything salted caramel.

We waited about 10 minutes for our shake to come out, but as we watched our friends' shakes arrive we understood what made these shakes worth 14 bucks. The shakes are served in a mason jar and are overfilled with all kinds of sweet goodness. Frostings, hot fudge, toasted marshmallows, whipped cream, bananas, cookies, brownies, you name it. When our shake came out I was shocked to see a full piece of cheesecake sitting on top of our jar! I especially loved the salty potato chips around the rim our our glass.

Our milkshake was amazing, and not to mention pretty dang photogenic. It was sweet & salty and the perfect size for sharing. I love ice cream and have a major sweet tooth, and there is no way I could have ever finished one of these shakes on my own, so I recommend sharing!

Legendairy Milkshake Bar is a must for anyone looking for an Instagram worthy dessert in downtown Nashville. They also have scooped ice creams, edible cookie dough, and hot chocolates; so there is something for everyone in your group. I was pleased with how quickly we were served considering it was a busy weekend night downtown. There is seating for bigger groups, and the employees were all sweet and accommodating. Definitely recommend!
