I am a bit behind on posts because my mom was visiting, and we were busy having too much fun everyday! I have been looking forward to my mom visiting all summer, and I saved some of the biggest & best Nashville things to do while she was here. I can't even pick what to post about first because we saw, ate, and experienced so many great things during the five and a half days she was here. So, there will be lots of posts ahead!

I'm learning I'm not a very good travel blogger, because I will be experiencing something new or eating somewhere fun and forget to even take pictures until we are almost done. Then I think "Shoot! I should have taken pictures for the blog!" So, I've decided to post about those places anyway even though I don't have lots of pictures. You guys will just have to come to Nashville and see these awesome places and restaurants for yourself I guess!

One of the first things we did that was a new place to me was eat dinner at The Pharmacy. I have heard our friends out here rave about their burgers for months, so I decided to try it out for the first dinner with my mom in town.

The Pharmacy is really popular, so at times the wait can be really long. They use the Yelp wait list system- so if you are on your way to eat there download the Yelp app & join the wait list virtually. Then you just check in with the host when you arrive and you already have a spot on the list! Can't recommend that enough, and I think all restaurants should use that system. I could check our place in line as well on the app, which helped us have an idea of how much longer our wait would be.

Our dinner here was the perfect summer night. We sat outside, and especially loved the cute hanging lights. It felt like you were just at a dinner in a friend's backyard- but in the best way.

We ordered a Cheese Burger and the Daily Grind Fish Burger to share. The Cheese Burger was the best burger I have ever had. Perfectly cooked juicy meat, soft bun, and the most delicious garlic aioli sauce. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. The salmon burger was also delicious- but a bit spicy. If you are a fan of crispy fries, their fries not might be for you- they were a bit on the soggier side. We both enjoyed the sweet potato fries more than the regular ones. Overall, I'd rate our meal a 8/10. But the service was great and we loved the atmosphere.

This is the only picture from our dinner, I was too busy enjoying! Smile courtesy of my happy tummy from a delicious meal.
